Boarding Services
Dawson Sawyer Locksmiths offer a boarding service.
Clearly a service that is required when a burglary has happened. We would board the broken glass, repair locks and make the area secure.
We use the American recommendations for boarding. We looked at the Americans as they routinely board property to withstand hurricanes. Importantly, the underlying principle they adopt is that there should be no damage to the frames. We have seen boards screwed directly to the window frame. This is not recommended and if a board is screwed we would drill into the mortar between the brickwork.
