In Barnsley in 2020 during January and February a burglary took place (on average) every 4 hours!
This post is to inform and not to scare-I believe our statistic is much better than Doncaster, Rotherham and Sheffield. Although we are all covered by South Yorkshire Police.
With a slower start in January, I was optimistic, burglary would decline to figures seen in 2016 but the production of February figures shows this not to be the case.
With more at home and restrictions on movement this year will be an interesting one.
